Welcome! I am Hannah, Director of Sensory Snug.

I founded Sensory Snug after a late diagnosis of ASD (autism spectrum disorder). I was 28 years old when I received my official diagnosis. However I self diagnosed six months earlier with the support of family. The diagnosis has changed my life for the better, helping me to better understand myself.

As an autistic adult and a complex needs teacher with a background in support work, I understand the many challenges adults and young people can face in their daily lives. I received my diagnosis later in life and have experience supporting adults and children with complex needs. Sensory Snug is a safe space for people who are struggling to cope. I aim to create a space where people can find and develop skills which allow them to thrive and enjoy life.

I am passionate about gently supporting and guiding those who feel they are struggling day to day. Most of the worksheets and strategies I suggest have been created for myself in times of struggle and they have helped me stay calm and work through seemingly impossible tasks.
